Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh wins ‘Best 5 Star Hotel’ at the inaugural edition of the Arabian Travel Awards Saudi Arabia 2025. Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh was originally opened in May 2000 as Al Faisaliah Hotel, a landmark in Riyadh’s Olaya district and part of the famous Al Faisaliah Centre. In 2021, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group took over its management and led major renovations. In January 2024, the hotel was officially rebranded as Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh, marking the brand’s first hotel in Saudi Arabia with refreshed design and luxury facilities.

The Group will assume management of two iconic properties in Luxor and Aswan, both of which will undergo significant renovation before reopening in 2027. Complementing these landmark hotels, Mandarin Oriental will introduce its first luxury river cruise, owned and developed by K.G. Company for Real Estate and Tourism Investment, part of Garranah Group, and operated in partnership with Mandarin Oriental. Together, the hotels and cruise form a fully integrated, destination-led journey between Cairo, Luxor and Aswan. Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group announced the launch of its first dedicated golf resort in Dubai — Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Golf Estates, set to open in 2030. This will be the Group’s third property in Dubai and its first to combine luxury hospitality with world-class golf and wellness living. Located in the prestigious Jumeirah Golf Estates – The Next Chapter, the resort will feature 121 elegant rooms and suites and 97 branded residences, including three- to six-bedroom villas. Each residence will offer private access to exclusive amenities, including pools, a fitness centre, and lounges. The resort will focus on wellness and nature, with nearly 5,000 sqm dedicated to holistic wellbeing, featuring signature spa treatments, gender-specific pools, meditation zones, and a salon.
