dnata Travel has introduced a new B2B booking portal for travel agents, providing the trade with a streamlined platform to access and book products through its dnata Representation Services – Land (dRS) division. The launch marks a significant step in dnata Travel’s digital transformation, moving agents away from manual and offline processes to a fully automated booking system. In the first phase, travel agents can directly book resort stays with Club Med and car rentals from Hertz, with additional brands expected to be integrated into the portal in future phases. The platform offers real-time availability, dynamic pricing, faster booking turnaround and access to exclusive trade offers. “This platform reflects our strategic move toward greater digital enablement and smarter partner engagement,” said Rakhi Purohit. “By consolidating a wide range of GSA products into one accessible system, we aim to enhance operational efficiency and provide travel agents with more ways to drive value and revenue in a competitive market.” Purohit added that the new digital infrastructure will also support real-time promotions, training opportunities and future expansion of the GSA portfolio.

As demand for luxury travel to Oman and the wider GCC continues to accelerate, dnata Representation Services – part of the dnata Travel Group – brought its exclusive luxury travel roadshow, Opulence by Ahlan Arabia, to the Sultanate for the first time. The milestone edition united more than 100 global travel professionals in a complete takeover of Salalah’s Alila Hinu Bay resort, between 13–16 January 2026. With destination leaders and luxury hospitality partners in attendance, the agenda explored the latest travel trends and opportunities for growth, elevated by a spectacular natural setting that defines the region’s luxury appeal. Central to the programme of the event’s second edition was the headline panel, ‘Rewriting the Travel Script: The Next Era of Travel & Tourism,’ featuring John Bevan, CEO of the dnata Travel Group, joined by senior representatives from WhereIsThis, Atlantis Resorts, and the Oman Convention Bureau. Insights from the discussion highlighted the concierge’s shift from a reactive role to one that anticipates guest needs before they arise. Speakers also explored how AI powered personalisation is enabling real time, seamless, and tailored experiences. The panel further identified storytelling, sustainability, and destination stewardship as key forces redefining the future of luxury travel. The event featured 28 curated exhibitors and 55 senior buyers from across the GCC and beyond, alongside professionals from across the dnata Travel Group and its partners, creating a dynamic platform for 1,680 pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings. Moving beyond traditional formats, Opulence introduced a ‘Beyond the Ballroom’ concept, with meetings and networking spread across the resort’s scenic spaces, complemented by immersive cultural experiences. Guests enjoyed a cultural evening hosted by Experience Oman at the Frankincense Museum within the Al Balid Archaeological Site, offering a deep …

dnata Representation Services (dRS) has announced an exclusive collaboration with Visa to promote curated resort and hotel offers to a highly targeted group of high-net-worth (HNW) travellers across the Gulf. Partner establishments will be integrated into Visa’s concierge and benefits platforms, which serve as sophisticated and personalized travel and lifestyle channels for this customer segment. The collaboration is timed with the launch of the Visa Private card, a new offering designed for individuals with at least $1 million in investable assets or monthly salary of AED 100,000 or more. Eligible cardholders will have exclusive access to value-adds such as upgrades, preferred rates, and bespoke experiences offered by select, premium hotel partners. Some of the participating properties include Club Med’s extensive network of all-inclusive resorts, Villa Le Corail in Nha Trang, Vietnam, City of Dreams in Limassol, Cyprus, Seehof Davos in Switzerland, and 369 Degrees Hotels & Maisons across France, among others. The move reflects a growing shift in how luxury travel is discovered and booked by the region’s wealthiest travellers. Instead of relying on traditional digital channels and travel agents, HNW clients are increasingly turning to concierge services embedded within their financial institutions – platforms that prioritise privacy, curation, and trust. “This collaboration is about meaningful access, not just visibility,” said Rakhi Purohit, head of dnata Representation Services. “Our hotel partners are connecting with a highly selective customer base through a trusted and exclusive environment. These travellers don’t browse – they expect seamless, premium service delivered where they already are.” “With dnata Representation Services, Visa Private is giving high net worth cardholders access to exceptional destinations with the privacy and personalization they value,” said Yuri Topunov, VP & Head of …
